1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Auth Dammit application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

Auth Dammit is a 2-factor authentication (2FA) utility application that generates time-based one-time passwords (TOTP). The app securely stores and syncs your authentication secrets using Firebase cloud services to enable seamless backup and multi-device access.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the physical and digital security of the device on which Auth Dammit is installed.
• Protecting the credentials you use to log into Auth Dammit (e.g., your Google or email account), as this provides access to your synced cloud backups on Firebase.
• Ensuring that your device is free from malware, spyware, or keyloggers that could compromise your authenticator data.

4. Limitation of Liability and Data Leaks

Please read this section carefully, as it limits our liability to you.

Auth Dammit is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to build secure software, the environment in which the app runs is beyond our control.

NO LIABILITY FOR DATA LEAKS: Under no circumstances shall the creators, developers, or distributors of Auth Dammit be held liable for any unauthorized access, loss, or leak of your authenticator data, secret keys, or associated accounts. You expressly understand and agree that any data compromise resulting from device theft, malware, OS vulnerabilities, or user error is solely your responsibility. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including financial loss) arising from the use or inability to use the app.

5. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines our data collection and handling practices in compliance with GDPR and DPDPA 2023.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
